Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company (KUFPEC) is evaluating new opportunities in Alberta, Canada. As part of this effort, KUFPEC has completed an engineering risk assessment of its 30% stake in the Quebec-Doverney project.

The company hired PriceForbes, a global and independent firm, to conduct the evaluation for impartiality and accuracy. The survey included assessing gas gathering and compression sites for safety levels and testing well and drilling platforms for effectiveness.

The results showed excellent indicators confirming the sound operational status of the project, including efficient safety systems and effective operations management.

KUFPEC achieved a 27.2% increase in daily output to 25,310 barrels of oil equivalent in 2025 compared to 19,891 barrels in 2024.
