The Kurdistan Region Presidency has condemned attacks on Saudi Arabia's oil pipelines and expressed solidarity with the kingdom. The statement, issued on September 12, reaffirmed the region's commitment to Saudi security and stability.

The presidency voiced support for Baghdad's efforts to investigate the drone attacks that struck the East-West oil pipeline in the Riyadh and Medina regions. Iraqi authorities said the attacks originated from a location within Maysan province, leading to the dismissal of the police chief and heads of security agencies in the region.

Saudi Arabia's Foreign Ministry confirmed drones originating from Iraqi territory had caused injuries and material damage to the oil pipeline. The kingdom agreed not to launch an immediate military response, allowing Baghdad time to investigate and take measures to prevent further attacks.
