Kuwait Lands $16 Billion Pipeline Deal for Oil Production

Kuwait has signed a major pipeline deal worth $16 billion to finance its oil production plans.

The agreement, signed by Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC), will provide the company with initial proceeds of $7.85 billion after the deal closes with a consortium of three international investors.

KPC's deputy chairman and chief executive Nawaf Saud Al-Sabah is leading the project.
