Kuwait Secures $16B Deal for Pipeline Network with Blackstone, Brookfield, and KKR
Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) has signed a major deal with a consortium of investors, securing a US$16 billion lease-and-lease-back agreement for its entire domestic and export pipeline network. The investors involved are Blackstone, Brookfield, and KKR.
The agreement will help the emirate achieve its target of 4 million barrels per day of crude production capacity by 2035. This is a significant step towards increasing Kuwait's oil production capabilities.
