Kuwait Secures $16B Pipeline Deal with Global Infrastructure Giants

Kuwait Oil Company has signed a $16 billion lease-and-leaseback agreement for its entire crude oil pipeline network. The deal is led by Blackstone, KKR, and Brookfield Asset Management.

The consortium acquires a 49% stake in the joint venture, while Kuwait Oil Company retains operational control and a 51% controlling stake.

The transaction covers 13 pipelines spanning 320 kilometers across Kuwait's domestic and export infrastructure.
