Kuwait Sees Quick Oil Recovery with US-Iran Conflict Resolution
Kuwait's oil production could quickly ramp up if the US-Iran conflict were to end today, according to Shaikh Nawaf Al-Sabah, CEO of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation. Speaking at the CERAWeek energy conference on Tuesday, he said that Kuwait could reach full production capacity within 3-4 months.
In a video address, Shaikh Nawaf emphasized that supplies from alternative pipelines and strategic reserve releases are not significant compared to normal export flows. This means that even with existing infrastructure in place, Kuwait would still need time to get back to pre-conflict levels of oil production.
