Kuwait has strongly condemned drone attacks on Saudi oil facilities in its neighboring country's Eastern Province and capital Riyadh. According to Kuwait's foreign ministry, the drones were launched by militias in Iraq.

The statement from Kuwait described the attack as a 'flagrant violation of the kingdom's sovereignty and territorial integrity.' It also stated that the assault breached international law, the UN Charter, and UN Security Council Resolution 2817.

Kuwait reiterated its full support for Saudi Arabia, emphasizing that the kingdom's security is inextricably linked to Kuwait's own security and that of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
