Kuwaiti Oil Price Surges by $2.88 to New High

The price of Kuwaiti oil has increased by $2.88 to reach $87.44 a barrel in Friday's trading, according to the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).

This rise is compared to Thursday's price of $84.56 a barrel.

In contrast, global markets have seen Brent crude futures fall 39 cents to settle at $89.31 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures declined 13 cents to settle at $83.40 a barrel.
