L&T Wins Major Contract for Kuwait's Jurassic Light Oil Export Facilities

Kuwait's Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) has awarded Larsen & Toubro (L&T) a major contract worth approximately KD303.5 million ($979 million) for the development of Jurassic Light Oil export facilities.

The project, valued in the 'major' category by L&T, involves the construction of six large crude oil storage tanks with an operating capacity of around 618,000 barrels each.

E.S. Sathyanarayanan, Senior Vice President and Head of L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Onshore, said the company was proud to partner with Kuwait on one of its strategic energy projects.
