Lance Lillibridge Elected to Iowa Corn Promotion Board

Lance Lillibridge, a Vinton farmer and past president of the Iowa Corn Growers Association, has been elected to serve on the Iowa Corn Promotion Board.

The board is responsible for overseeing the investment of funds generated by the Iowa corn checkoff, which includes promoting new uses, trade, and domestic usage such as ethanol production.

Lillibridge's priorities include addressing rising input costs, which he believes are essential to keeping corn farmers profitable. He plans to explore ways to drive down these costs, which would be beneficial to the industry.

In addition to focusing on input costs, Lillibridge aims to maintain a strong relationship with the US Meat Export Federation, as pork, poultry, and beef are significant consumers of corn.
