Libya's Oil Export Revenues Surpass $15 Billion in H1 2026

Libya's oil export revenues have exceeded expectations in the first half of 2026, reaching $15.234 billion according to data published by the Ministry of Economy and Trade.

This represents a nearly 9% increase over the target of $13.985 billion set for the period, with crude oil production standing at approximately 246 million barrels compared to a target of 252 million barrels.

The ministry sees this as a positive indicator of progress in implementing the targets of Libya's unified financial expenditure agreement.

However, the next phase requires continued coordination among state institutions, linking performance to actual revenues and directing resources toward supporting economic activity and improving citizens' living standards.
