LME Non-Ferrous Metal Inventory Changes Weigh on Markets
The London Metal Exchange (LME) released data on September 9 showing changes in non-ferrous metal inventories. Copper inventory decreased by 1,900 tonnes from the previous day to 235,825 tonnes.
LME nickel inventories fell short of expectations, with a decrease of only 84 tonnes compared to the previous trading day.
On the other hand, zinc inventory increased by 300 tonnes to 115,675 tonnes, which could exert downward pressure on spot and futures prices.
