LNG Prices Set to Stay High for Six Months, Chevron Australia Warns
Chevron Australia's president, Balaji Krishnamurthy, said in an interview that liquefied natural gas (LNG) prices are unlikely to drop in the short term.
In a Bloomberg TV interview on Monday, Krishnamurthy stated that he 'has a hard time seeing the prices come down' in the next six months or so.
The surge in LNG prices since the start of the US-Iran war has led to Australian LNG being at a premium due to its geographical proximity to Asia, according to Krishnamurthy.
