Loonie Strengthens as Crude Oil Prices Dip

As of 8:37 a.m. CDT, the loonie was trading at US$0.7187 or US$1=C$1.3914, marking a small advance from Tuesday's close of US$0.7180 or US$1=C$1.3927.
The United States Dollar Index saw a decline of 0.13 points to 99.70.
In related news, crude oil prices eased off slightly, with Brent crude dipping US$0.57 at US$88.34 per barrel and West Texas Intermediate declining US$0.43 at US$82.77/barrel.
