LP Gas Shortage in Nepal Finally Starts to Improve
The recent LP gas shortage in Nepal has finally started to improve as imports from India increase and distribution processes become more efficient.
Following the introduction of 14.2 kg gas cylinders on July 15, there was an unexpected shortage; however, this situation is now getting better.
Binit Mani Upadhyay, director of the Nepal Oil Corporation LPG and aviation department, mentioned that while there were some initial hiccups after launching the 14.2 kg cylinders, the situation now is improving.
'We've ramped up supply to meet consumer demand, and the Indian Oil Corporation has been instrumental in this effort,' Director Upadhyay explained.
