LPG Price Fluctuations and E-KYC Changes Take Effect on September 1st
A series of rule changes are set to take effect on September 1st, impacting household budgets and cooking gas users.
The price fluctuations for LPG cylinders will be revised by Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) on the first day of every month. This means that domestic cylinder prices may change, but it's unclear whether they will increase or decrease.
In addition to price changes, new connections and e-KYC updates are also set to take effect. Consumers who have not completed their e-KYC process by August 31 may face temporary suspension of their LPG service or be ineligible for subsidized domestic gas cylinder rates.
