Lukashenko Hears Report on Belarus' Record-Breaking Harvest
Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko recently met with Agriculture and Food Minister Yuri Gorlov to discuss the country's agricultural progress.
The report highlighted several key areas of success, including a significant increase in grain harvest yields compared to last year. The total gross harvest is expected to reach 11.5 million tonnes, with a record rapeseed crop of around 1.5 million tonnes and plans for 2.5 million tonnes of corn.
The report also noted good prospects for other crops, such as sugar beets, flax, and vegetables, which will ensure that the country's residents are fully supplied during the off-season.
