Malaysia's Fuel Supply Stable Despite Global Oil Price Volatility

Malaysia's fuel supply remains stable despite tighter global oil supplies, according to Prime Minister's economic adviser Nurhisham Hussein.

The government is confident of securing sufficient supplies through to year-end, thanks to Petronas' efforts in ensuring a steady supply chain.

Nurhisham noted that the global fuel situation remains fluid due to geopolitical tensions and disruptions to key shipping routes, particularly the Middle East conflict.

He warned that oil prices may remain elevated for 2-3 years due to countries rebuilding their oil reserves only when prices return to reasonable levels of around $80 a barrel.
