Managed Money Positions Shift in Gold, Copper, Crude Oil, and Sugar
The latest Commitments of Traders data from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission shows notable shifts in futures market positioning across several commodities.
In gold, managed money long positions rose to 154,595 contracts, while short positions fell to 12,947, resulting in a net long of 141,648, up from 128,000 in the previous week.
Copper saw managed money net longs increase to 78,648 from 70,000, as long positions climbed to 92,097 and shorts declined to 13,449.
