Investors will be monitoring several key indicators and global developments that could impact the stock market this week. Crude oil prices, the situation around the Strait of Hormuz, and inflation data are among the top triggers to watch.

In the US, key inflation readings, including CPI and PPI data, are due on August 12 and 13, respectively.

The market is also expected to track the progress of the Q1 FY27 earnings season, with several companies scheduled to announce their quarterly results this week.
