Markets Stabilize Amid Mixed Sentiment and Global Tensions
Gold prices were steady on Tuesday as investors awaited key U.S. labor market data and monitored Middle East tensions. The uncertainty surrounding inflation and the Federal Reserve's interest rate outlook kept bullion largely range-bound.
Copper futures, however, climbed towards $6.6 per pound, reaching a two-month high due to supply shortages in China, particularly of copper concentrate and scrap. This continued to support prices.
Meanwhile, WTI crude oil prices rebounded over 1% after sharp losses in the previous session, as uncertainty over potential U.S.-Iran negotiations revived concerns over Middle East supply risks.
