MCX Gold Futures Soar to Rs 1.54 Lakh Per 10 Grams Amid Strong Demand

Gold futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) surged to Rs 1.54 lakh per 10 grams due to fresh positions and firm spot demand.

The prices of the precious metal rose by Rs 924, or 0.6 percent, in futures trade as speculators created new positions based on strong market sentiment.

Globally, gold futures also increased, rising 0.74 percent to USD 4,402.40 per ounce in New York.
