MCX Gold Rises Amid Healthy Spot Demand

Gold prices on MCX saw a rise of 0.77% to Rs. 1,53,992 per 10 grams on September 8, backed by strong spot market demand and positive global cues.

The CME FedWatch Tool indicates that markets are pricing in a 41.6% probability of the Fed keeping rates unchanged and a 58.4% chance of a rate hike in September.

In the US, gold prices climbed as the US dollar slipped, with spot gold up 0.6% at USD 4,429.89 per ounce and US gold futures for December delivery at USD 4,475.10.
