MCX Natural Gas Price Climbs +1.47% to Rs 269
The natural gas price on MCX closed at Rs 269 per mmBtu on Thursday, August 26, with a gain of +1.47% from the previous close.
The session saw highs and lows ranging from Rs 266 to Rs 270, a Rs 4 band, but overall remains positive for Thursday's trade.
Ankit Jaiswal, an equity research analyst at Univest, notes that post-expiry calm in Indian equity markets allows MCX commodity prices to move more cleanly on their own fundamental drivers.
