METLEN Secures Long-Term LNG Supply with PETRONAS Deal

METLEN and PETRONAS have entered into a long-term Sale and Purchase Agreement for the supply of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) to Greece.

The agreement, which will commence in 2027, involves PETRONAS' subsidiary PTUK delivering six LNG cargoes per year from its Atlantic portfolio, amounting to approximately 0.6 billion cubic meters per annum over a five-year period.

METLEN's Chief Executive Director International Energy Supply & Trading, Panayotis Kanellopoulos, stated that the agreement represents an important step in strengthening METLEN's strategy to diversify its LNG sourcing and enhance flexibility and reliability of supply.

PETRONAS Executive Vice President and CEO of Gas & Maritime Business, Datuk Adif Zulkifli, emphasized PETRONAS' commitment to delivering reliable and flexible LNG solutions that support customers' evolving energy needs.
