Metso Stock Soars on EUR 40 Million Copper Order
Metso's stock price has been boosted by a new copper-processing equipment order worth approximately EUR 40 million for the Viscaria mine in Sweden, booked into its third-quarter 2026 orders.
The agreement with Gruvaktiebolaget Viscaria includes key process equipment and is expected to contribute a mid-double-digit million-euro boost to Metso's near-term order backlog.
Metso shares have been trading close to recent analyst target prices, sitting almost exactly at an average of EUR 17.75 as of September 4, 2026.
The company highlighted the integrated nature of the Viscaria contract, which spans crushing, grinding, flotation, separation, and filtration technologies, providing attractive margins due to its comprehensive offering across the flowsheet.
