Mexico's US Gas Imports Soar as ECA Terminal Nears Completion
Mexico's imports of US natural gas have seen significant growth this summer, particularly as the Energía Costa Azul (ECA) LNG export terminal in Baja California moves toward commercial operations.
According to recent data, Mexico has been importing an average of 7.80 Bcf/d from the US.
The increased demand is also reflected in North Baja flows, which have exceeded pre-expansion levels.
