Middle East Allies Unite Against Aggression

Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan have signed a joint defence agreement in Mecca, aimed at strengthening collective deterrence against any act of aggression.

The 'Mecca Joint Defence Agreement' was signed in response to Iran's missile fire onto Gulf oil exporters, which has been ongoing since the US and Israel attacked it on February 28.

The agreement stipulates that an armed attack against any of the three countries would be regarded as an attack on all, but the details of their commitments are unclear.
