Middle East Conflict Escalates as CENTCOM Warns Troops Against Sharing Strike Videos

The conflict in the Middle East continues to escalate, with the latest developments including a warning from US Central Command (CENTCOM) to American troops against sharing videos or images of missile strikes on social media.

CENTCOM's Admiral Brad Cooper issued a letter dated July 28, cautioning that such footage could provide Iran with valuable real-time intelligence about the effectiveness of attacks on US military bases.

The warning comes as US forces remain on heightened alert following recent missile attacks targeting American positions across the region.

Global oil prices have also surged due to renewed fighting, with Brent crude climbing around 3.3% to trade near $85 per barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude rose about 3.4% to around $81.93 per barrel.
