The incident comes after the US military said it had struck three Iranian oil tankers in response to Navy warships being targeted with ballistic missiles.
Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf warned that any further attacks on Iran's interests and security would receive a 'faster, heavier and more painful response.'
