Middle East Tensions Fuel Crude Price Surge Past $100
Global crude oil prices surged higher at the end of the week as rising geopolitical tensions in the Middle East drove up benchmarks to over $100 per barrel.
The Dubai crude benchmark, a key indicator of regional oil prices, set a three-month high on Tuesday amid escalating tensions. The price increase outpaced that of Brent, another major global oil benchmark.
According to reports, Saudi Aramco made only marginal adjustments to its official selling prices (OSPs) for October, leaving its flagship grade unchanged for Asian buyers.
