Middle East Tensions Push Crude Prices Towards $100
Global oil prices rose sharply on Tuesday as renewed fighting in the Middle East heightened fears of disruptions to crude oil supplies.
The conflict, which involves Iran, the United States, and Israel, has contributed to a significant escalation in the region.
The Houthi group, backed by Iran, launched attacks on four cities in southern Saudi Arabia, including targets linked to the country's state-owned oil company.
The attacks affected energy infrastructure, with satellite images showing black smoke over the Jazan refinery and a column of white smoke rising from an oil distribution centre in Abha.
