Middle East Tensions Send Oil Prices Soaring
U.S. stock futures traded mixed on Thursday as investors assessed escalating Middle East tensions that pushed crude prices higher.
Futures on the Nasdaq 100 (NDX) were up 0.07%, while those on the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) and the S&P 500 Index (SPX) were down 0.05% and 0.16%, respectively.
Oil prices continued to rise, with Brent crude (CM:BZ) up 2.2% at $94.13 a barrel, and WTI crude (CM:CL) rising 2.3% to $87.04 a barrel.
