Middle East Tensions Weigh on Oil Prices as Tanker Traffic Resumes
Oil prices have slipped in recent days as tankers continue to operate through Middle East conflict zones, despite heightened risks.
According to Reuters, Brent crude has been priced around $71.46 a barrel, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) stood at approximately $68.59.
This decline follows a previous period where tanker traffic through the strategically significant Strait of Hormuz had sharply decreased due to increased risks.
Despite the resumption of tanker operations, oil markets remain sensitive to potential supply disruptions in the region, which continue to influence pricing dynamics.
