Misal Orders MNGL to Speed Up Pune Gas Supply Works

Pune's gas supply network is set for an overhaul after Minister of State for Urban Development Madhuri Misal directed the Maharashtra Natural Gas Company Limited (MNGL) to speed up its pending work in the city.

Misal issued the instructions while reviewing MNGL’s functioning at the government guest house in Pune. The meeting was attended by Mayor Manjusha Nagpure, Standing Committee Chairman Shrinath Bhimale, MNGL Pune Manager Ritesh Ingole, and other officials.

Misal asked MNGL to draw up a clear plan of action for the city and ensure that local elected representatives, the administration, and citizens are kept in the loop at every stage. She stressed that the company should focus on resolving residents’ problems rather than letting them pile up.
