MISC Wins Decade-Long LNG Shipping Contract from Malaysia LNG
MISC Bhd has secured a significant contract to provide long-term liquefied natural gas (LNG) shipping services to Malaysia LNG Sdn Bhd (MLNG).
The contract, which will run for 10 years, involves the use of a newbuild 18,700-cubic metre LNG carrier.
MISC has also signed a shipbuilding contract with China's Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co Ltd to construct the vessel.
The project supports PETRONAS' continued LNG supply to Sendai City, Japan, reinforcing a long-standing partnership of nearly 30 years.
