Misled Video Sparks False Alarm Over Iranian Attack on US Base
A video circulating on social media claiming to show an Iranian attack on the U.S. Arifjan base in Kuwait has been found to be misleading, according to Misbar's investigation.
The footage is from 2025 and actually depicts an Iranian shelling in Haifa during the 12-day war between Israel and Iran.
The video shows missiles launched by Iran toward Israel, with one landing near the Port of Haifa, triggering fires. Israeli media reported that about 30 missiles were launched toward Israel, with several striking three locations in Haifa, injuring 15 people, damaging seven buildings, and setting several cars on fire.
This incident occurred against a backdrop of escalating tensions between the United States and Iran in the Strait of Hormuz. The U.S. Central Command targeted three Iranian oil tankers in response to an attack on two warships, with two of the tankers permanently disabled and the third destroyed.
