Mixed Trading on Grains, Livestock Markets

Grain futures on the Chicago Board of Trade took a mixed turn in early trading Thursday. While most grains were lower, one exception was Sept. oats, which gained 0.25 cents to $3.39 a bushel.

Sep. corn and Sep. wheat saw declines, falling by 2 cents to $4.60 a bushel and down 0.25 cents to $7.05 a bushel respectively. However, Aug. soybeans dropped by 1 cent to $12.32 a bushel.

The livestock market also experienced some changes on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, with beef trading mixed and pork being lower overall.
