Modi Biotech Secures ₹140 Crore Ethanol Supply Order as Modi Naturals Eyes FY27 Revenue Targets
Modi Naturals' subsidiary Modi Biotech has secured a new ethanol supply order of ₹140 crore, taking its cumulative order book to around ₹540 crore. This development is in line with the company's efforts under Joint Managing Director Akshay Modi to focus on operational efficiency and sustainable profitability for FY27.
The Raipur-based grain-based ethanol plant, which has a total capacity of 282 KLPD after a recent expansion, will contribute significantly to this growth. The Supreme Court's recent clearance of additional ethanol procurement for oil marketing companies is expected to drive the company's revenue growth.
Modi Naturals reported a consolidated net profit of ₹12.50 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026, and is targeting consolidated revenue of ₹950 crore to ₹1,100 crore for FY27, representing a significant increase over the ₹719.2 crore recorded in FY26.
