Montana Ranks 10th Highest for Gas Prices Amid National Decline
Montana's gas prices have dropped 4.7 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $4.23 per gallon as of Monday morning, according to Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy.
This decrease means Montana now ranks 10th in the U.S. for average gas prices, two spots higher than last week.
The national average price of gasoline has also fallen, down 10.7 cents per gallon to $3.94, with diesel decreasing by 5.1 cents to $5.28 per gallon.
De Haan warns that the recent relief in gas prices may not last due to ongoing tensions and potential disruptions in oil markets.
