Morocco Seeks US LNG Supplies Amid Growing Energy Demand
Morocco is seeking to strengthen its energy security by diversifying its natural gas supply sources. To this end, the country has reached out to the United States for potential liquefied natural gas (LNG) supplies and related services.
A Moroccan delegation will attend a meeting organized by the U.S. Trade Development Agency (USTDA) in Houston on September 24 to explore opportunities for American companies to supply LNG, natural gas products, services, and technologies to Morocco.
The event is part of the USTDA's Natural Gas Opportunities in the MENA Region initiative, which aims to connect U.S. suppliers with senior decision-makers from Morocco, Egypt, and Jordan who are advancing liquefied natural gas and related gas infrastructure priorities.
