Morocco Strategic Minerals Unveils High-Grade Copper Assay Results at Ouneine
Retail investors tracking copper and precious metals have been focusing on exploration activity in North Africa, where rising demand from data centers, defense, and clean energy is drawing attention to early-stage projects. Morocco Strategic Minerals Corp., a Canadian explorer with interests in the Western High Atlas region of Morocco, recently released assay results that highlight the potential of its holdings at Ouneine.
The company holds an option to acquire up to 80% of a district-scale portfolio covering seven properties from MNF Groupe and maintains a separate option for 100% of the Ouneine mine license. Phase 1 sampling at Ouneine returned 49 grab samples with values up to 14.88% copper and 696 g/t silver, including 37 samples above 1% copper and eight above 5.29% copper.
A full-time Moroccan field team supported by drone surveys and 3D laser scanning is preparing detailed drill targets for the fall season. Copper demand forecasts point to growth in AI infrastructure and power grids, supporting prices above US$6.45 per pound in recent trading. The company's market capitalization stands at CA$23.40 million with 188 million shares outstanding.
