A delegation of Mozambican business leaders visited ExxonMobil and Halliburton in Houston as part of their US trip. The visits aimed to explore potential partnerships, knowledge transfer, and national company participation in the oil and gas supply chain.

The delegation was led by Onório Manuel, CEO of MozParks and Vice-President of the Confederation of Economic Associations of Mozambique (CTA). They met with executives at ExxonMobil, which is relevant to Mozambique's preparations for a new cycle of LNG investment. At Halliburton, they gained insight into technologies and services required to support major oil and gas operations.

MozParks aims to develop industrial parks and logistics platforms in Cabo Delgado to support companies operating within the growing LNG supply chain. The company's Afungi Industrial Park is intended to provide investors with the necessary infrastructure and environment to establish and expand their businesses.
