Mozambique's Coral Sul LNG Project Drives State Revenue to Over $300 Million
The Mozambican state has collected $303.31 million in revenue since commercial production began at the Coral Sul LNG project in Area 4 of the Rovuma Basin in 2022.
In the first half of this year, oil and gas exploration projects generated $50.49 million for the Mozambican state, with the State's Oil Profit component accounting for 63.34% of these revenues.
The Oil Production Tax contributed 36.66%, totaling $18.51 million.
