MP Evans Halves Carbon Emissions Amid Sustainable Palm Oil Growth

MP Evans Group PLC's CEO Matthew Coulson highlighted the company's commitment to sustainability in an interview, citing significant progress in reducing carbon emissions and expanding sustainable palm oil production.

The company has increased its production of sustainable palm oil within its mills to 275,000 tonnes, while setting aside nearly 9,000 hectares for conservation efforts. This land is not used for fresh fruit bunches, a key factor in reducing environmental impact.

In terms of community engagement, MP Evans has expanded its smallholder scheme to include over 12,000 farmers. The company emphasizes the importance of social responsibility, taking a holistic approach that considers environmental, social, and governance factors.
