NALCO, GAIL Sign Long-Term Gas Agreement Amid Rising Demand

NALCO, India's leading aluminium producing company, has signed a Long-Term Gas Transmission Agreement with GAIL (India) Ltd to ensure a reliable supply of natural gas. This agreement is part of NALCO's efforts to revamp furnace firing systems across its facilities in Odisha.

The new agreement will see GAIL establish a dedicated gas distribution station on the premises of NALCO's Smelter Plant, S&P Complex, Anugola, Odisha. This move aims to facilitate seamless distribution and ensure a steady supply of natural gas for NALCO's operations.

NALCO shares are trading higher by 0.47% at Rs 371.75 on the BSE following this development.
