Nasdaq Slumps as WTI Crude Edges Closer to $90

West Texas Intermediate crude oil prices rose 4.97% to reach $90.02 per barrel, nearing the $90 mark.
Energy stocks outperformed technology shares by a margin of 2.67 percentage points, with energy rising 1.12% and technology falling 1.55%.
The S&P 500 slipped 0.67% to close at 7,634.91, while the Dow Industrials dropped 0.78% to 52,768.71.
