National Fuel Reduces Gas Bills by $2.75 for Pennsylvania Residents

Residents of Pennsylvania will see a decrease in their gas bills starting August 1st due to National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation's annual adjustment. The company has submitted its annual adjustment to gas supply charges, which features lower monthly rates for customers.

The adjustment is largely attributed to the decline in natural gas market prices and includes a refund of an overcollection of pipeline capacity charges from a prior period. Customers will also receive gas supply costs with no markup or profit to National Fuel.

According to the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, the annual adjustments will lower the monthly bill of a typical resident for annual gas usage of 98,400 cubic feet by $2.75, from $91.21 to $88.46.
