Natural Gas Breaks Above Key Support Zone with 4.29% Surge
Natural gas prices have broken out of a key support zone, according to data from EEX. The commodity has surged by 4.29% on the day, with strong volume confirmation and elevated trading activity.
The breakout occurred after a sharp V-reversal bounce in the 4-hour chart, which showed a clear downtrend from $3.40 to a low near $2.65 followed by a reversal up. The most recent 4-hour candle was a strong bullish bar with the highest volume on the chart.
On the one-hour chart, the last two bars show impulsive gains with expanding volume, suggesting continued upward momentum. Price has broken above the April 24 breakdown initiation zone around $2.75 and is pushing toward the $2.80 resistance level.
