Natural Gas Futures Near $3 Amid Warmer Temps and LNG Demand
Natural gas futures made another push towards $3 on Friday, driven by warmer temperatures and increased demand for liquefied natural gas (LNG).
The buying concentrated at the front of the curve, while Henry Hub cash prices eased slightly. Lower production levels also contributed to the market's upward momentum.
The October contract gained 5.4 cents, with winter contracts lagging behind in terms of price appreciation.
